WHAT IT MAY SUPPORT

Normal immune function

Vitamin C contributes to normal immune function. It supports everyday nutritional needs, rather than replacing medical care when you are unwell.

Collagen formation

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, supporting the normal function of skin, gums, cartilage and blood vessels.

Antioxidant support

Vitamin C helps protect cells from oxidative stress as part of its normal nutritional role.

Iron absorption

Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron from plant-based foods. If you have an iron-overload condition, seek individual advice before taking a vitamin C supplement.

The right amount depends on your dietary intake, other supplements and individual circumstances. More is not automatically better.

WHY WE MIX IT WITH METHYLENE BLUE

When mixed directly, vitamin C reacts with methylene blue, converting it to a reduced form called leucomethylene blue. This can reduce the blue colour of the solution (for our purpose it reduces it to a more palatable form and helps absorb better into your cells)

The colour change reflects a chemical reaction. It does not establish that the mixture is safer, more effective or better absorbed, and it does not remove methylene blue’s medication interactions or other safety risks.

Do not adjust amounts based on colour alone. Any use alongside methylene blue requires appropriate professional guidance.

Medication and safety considerations

Higher amounts of vitamin C can cause digestive discomfort, including diarrhoea.

Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney disease, a history of kidney stones, an iron-overload condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take regular medicines.

Methylene blue has separate contraindications and potentially serious medication interactions. Mixing it with vitamin C does not remove these risks.

Do not stop or change prescribed medicines without advice from your prescriber.
